Error code 2000-0146
Hi I have dell 1545 inspiron which somehow has lost some start-up drivers. So I am trying to do clean reinstall windows 7 by the CD provided by DELL. Once I click on install now and reach the Setup is starting page in the booting process it freezes and does not go further no matter how long I leave it, so I ran diagnostic check and I am getting Error code 2000-0146 . I do not know what to do next. Please advice me how to fix this. Thank you

You need to replace the faulty hard drive with a new one. Then do the reinstall.

Reinstalling may temporarily fix the problem, but the drive is failing - you'll be doing the job over in short order.
