Precision M4700 on e-port plus issues
Can someone please help me understand why my e6520 can use 2 external DVI displays plus the laptops screen but my new M4700 cannot? The M4700 can only use 2 displays at once, i can use both external only if I disable the laptop screen. How is the e-port connecting the DVI ports to the laptop?

I forgot to mention that it has the ATI M4000 video card.

Anyone? Why 2 displays at once? Does the internal panel share a common bus with the dock DVI ports?

I think it has to do with the video memory. Precision M4700 with ATI card, has only 1GB of video memory. I had the Precision M4600, and, I was able to do 2 monitors plus the Laptop. The Precision M4600 had 2GB and the display adapter wasn't ATI (I think it was Intel or NVidia).
