Shutdown problem
Hi everyone,
I have Dell inspiron n5010 core i5. Recently, I have a problem when shutting down windows 8. It seems that the laptop is shutting down ,but the power button light is still on. I still working till the battery is empty. or I keep holding the power button to shut it down.
please I need help :emotion-6:

Hi eng aboulkomsan,
I’d be glad to assist you regarding the same, please follow the below mentioned steps to fix the issue.
1. Please install the latest version of BIOS, Chipset and Video drivers on the computer by clicking on the below link

2. Type in the Service tag, under Drivers and downloads select the Operating system and install the BIOS, Chipset and video drivers on the computer.
3. Also perform the Diagnostics on the computer by shutting down the computer and pressing and holding the FN + power button which will initiate the PSA.
4. Perform the complete diagnostics and make a note of any error message as such.
