SM Bus Controller

Question

I had to restore my system, but after I was done I had Other devices with large yellow question marks and next to them was the words SM Bus Controller and above it Base System Device (3 times). Do you know what driver I need to correct this problem...George :smileyhappy:

you didn't say what system you're using but the base system devices are most likely to be refering to drivers for your card reader.

as for your SM Bus Controller, did you install the intel chipset driver and dell notebook system software?

I've downloaded and installed the intel chipset driver and that has solved the SM Bus Controller problem, but I still have additional drivers that I must need. The other devices now shows Base System device (3 entries) with question marks. If you can let me know which driver fixes this problem, I'll download it and install it. TIA...George :-)
