"The computer does not support this operating system" error
On my Inspiron 700M, I reinstalled Windows XP Pro and installed all current Windows updates but not Service Pack 2.
When I try to install the Notebook System Software driver, I get an error message saying "The computer does not support this operating system." I've downloaded both the most recent and the previous versions of the system software driver, but get the same message each time.
This driver is important to me because it will potentially resolve USB issues I'm having.
Has anyone else had this problem or come up with a solution? Thanks!
