Hi danibonda,

Try to calibrate the screen. Here are the steps:

-Select the Settings menu from the charms.
-Select Control Panel from the Settings menu.
-Click Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input.
-On the following screen tap the cross hair each time it appears on screen and save the calibration settings.

Hi danibonda,

Try resetting the computer. Here are the steps. Remove the Base Door. Use a paper clip to reset the system by inserting the pointed end into the reset hole underneath the notebook. To locate the reset hole, please refer to THIS thread.

1.refresh the system

2.Reinstall the windows back to factory settings

3.Update the flash bios

4.reset the system

5.run a diagnose with everything passed

i do not have a HID in device manager ,not able to find the driver and no option for screen calibration for touch and pen

Still open for any other solution .Thank you !!!

Hi danibonda,

Since you've tried almost all the possible steps, it might a hardware issue and we may have to replace parts. You may provide the service tag of the computer and the first and last name as it appears on the account via private message (click my username and then click Start Conversation) so that I can check the further course of action.

Hi danibonda,

Thank you for providing the information; appreciate it.

I received a suggestion from our community rockstar member RockSt☆r-Rick K regarding this issue. Before we proceed further, let's try the following steps:

- Boot into BIOS, power off the computer -> restart the computer, press 'F2' key on the Dell logo -> this will take you to BIOS screen.
- Go to the Boot tab.
- Change the Secure Boot to Disabled.
Press F10 key to Save the changes. Restart the computer and check if the touch screen works.

If the above steps do not work, then go to BIOS setting once again, under Boot tab, change the Boot List Option to Legacypress F10 to save the changes. Restart the computer and check.

Please share the findings.

Hi danibonda,

Please share the current status of the computer. Are you able to boot to Windows?

If not, then boot into BIOS and change the above setting to its previous state.

Awaiting your response.
