" Note: There is no camera option listed in device manager "
-----------------------------------
Please make sure camera isn't listed under Imaging devices or 'Sound, video and game controllers'. If camera still isn't seen, click on View at top of device manager, and then select 'Show Hidden Devices'.
If camera appears, right click on it, select Uninstall Device. Select the check box for Deletethe driver software for this device, then select OK. Click on Action, and then select Scan for hardware changes.
Windows should reinstall and update the camera driver. Hopefully camera runs normally.....

Welcome to the Dell Community @bella231
To better assist you, the members would need the exact model number of your laptop/desktop???
Identify your Dell:
https://www.dell.com/support/contents/us/en/04/category/product-support/self-support-knowledgebase/l...
OR
Hold down the “Windows” and tap the “R” key.
Then type msinfo32 then hit enter.
Best regards,
U2
