Battery and Serial Number
Latitude E5550/5550
Dir Sir,
I bought a battery for my latitude E5550 from local company which sells the battery with
“ original” tag. Is there any way I can check the authenticity of the battery and manufacturing date?
Note: I attached battery Serial No

If the battery (label) is OEM, the battery was made in 2014 -- which, correlates with the release date of that system (2014). Together with the label reflecting a manufacturing date that long ago, it's either not OEM, it's very old, or it has been "rebuilt" at some point, by someone. Only your supplier can tell you for sure.
