Bitlocker key request after BIOS update

Just had windows update run on my Latitude 3180 and was surprised to see it install a BIOS update to 1.14.2. Didn't think too much about until it restarted and went to the BitLocker key request screen. Was surprised because I wasn't aware that BitLocker was installed so of course I hadn't stored the key nor is it stored to my Microsoft account. 

Seems DELL is aware of the issue:

but still pushes BIOS updates that trigger this through Windows update and offers no solution to those effected.

Pretty sure I'm going to have to format and reinstall unless anyone has a solution to share.
