blank/black screen on E5450

Hello 

I have few DELL E5450 Latitude laptops that is intermittenly turning off the screen. SOmetimes, when I lift up front edge screen comes back on. 

I hope I am not imagining but here it goes; I think these laptops have drop sensor and when the driver/application is not installed, it is not able to sense when the laptop is moving. I hope this isn't too much of SCIFI.

I couldn't find a driver for it on driver page. 

by the way, I am posting this question from the laptop that is having the problem. So the issue is not always like that.
