Boot failures WDT Power Off

Purchased two new Latitude 5550, having trouble booting one. Hit power button, see Dell logo, then the system turns off about 80% of the time. Only difference I can find in hardware is the problem system has SSD of "BG6 KIOXIA 512GB". (The one that works is a WD SSD of same size.)

BIOS power log shows events: "Power Off - WDT"

Made video of boot failure with power light & photos of BIOS & logs and posted to Google Photos site at following link.

Very frustrating to be dealing with this on a new system.

The video of a failed boot is too large to upload, but is at the google photo link, showing the power light during the failed boot as well.

Hi @TXDistrict,

I am having the exact same issue on my Dell Latitude 5140, so was wondering if you managed to find the issue and fix it.

Your response is anxiously awaited,

Thanks in advance

I tried too long to fix the issue myself. Contacted Dell Support by another method, they had me send the unit back, and they replaced some hardware & mailed me back the system that has been working properly.

Good luck.
