Cannot update Dell Latitude 5285 BIOS
Download the BIOS update from the support page and run it. It shows the BIOS can be updated. But after clicking OK, the system reboots. No updates or errors happens and the system goes to the Windows logon page directly.

Welcome to the Dell Community @justinwub
First method:
Create a new folder on your desktop named “BIOS Update”
Then download your BIOS update.
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=tgwgd&oscode=wt64a&productcode=latitude-12-5285-2-in-1-laptop
Copy the update to that folder you just created.
Close all Windows and Apps you may have open.
Go to the folder and right click on the update file and “Run as Administrator”
Second method:
Create a bootable USB drive using “Rufus”
https://rufus.ie/
Under "Boot Selection" select "Free DOS"
Then click "Start"
Copy the BIOS update to the bootable USB drive you just created..
Insert USB drive, power-on and start tapping the “ F12 “ key.
Boot from USB and run the BIOS update.
After reboot test and post any results.
Best regards,
U2
Note 1: Before updating the BIOS, ensure that you suspend BitLocker encryption on a BitLocker-enabled system. If BitLocker is not enabled on your system, you can ignore this step. For information about how to disable BitLocker, see How to Enable or Disable BitLocker with TPM in Windows at support.dell.com.
Note 2: Do not turn off power or interrupt the BIOS update process during the update.
Note 3: Your system requires a restart after installing the BIOS. The restart can be deferred but must be completed to ensure that the update is installed.

I have tried both methods. The system can recognize the file as a newer BIOS, but still directly boot to the Windows login screen.
I have upgraded the BIOS for couple of times successfully, but not met this problem before.
