@mattm74 What do you mean that you see "USB option in set up"? You should see a boot from USB option in order to boot into Windows Setup in the first place, but after that you shouldn't be dealing with any USB options. And the fact that your flash drive is unrecognizable after you try this suggests that you're choosing to install Windows into your bootable flash drive. So Windows Setup is probably wiping and reinitializing your flash drive when you do that, which will of course cause the installation to fail because you just wiped the USB device that contains the files necessary to install Windows. You need to choose to install Windows to your internal storage, not that USB device. If you don't see your internal storage, you might need to load the Intel RST driver during Windows Setup. Or you could just go into your system BIOS and switch it from RAID to AHCI mode.
