CTRL+SHIFT+home or end

Have a new 5490.  My previous Dell had a separate home and end key.   I could press CTRL+SHIFT+home to select from a point to the begging of a document or CTRL+SHIFT+end to select from a point to the end.  I used this quite a bit.    I can get get SHIFT+HOME/END to work by pressing SHIFT+FN+HOME/END but if I try CTRL+SHIFT+FN+home or end it does nothing.  I need this functionality.
