Dell 6220 start issue

Question

Hi I have a problem with my E6220. When I push power button it's is solid light, caps lock blink for a moment after that HDD LED for 2-3 seconds, LCD is black after that power button is black again and after few seconds turn off. From time to time laptop starts and normally boot WIN... After reboot from Windows machine not restarting and only power LED is solid light... If it is connected to AC additionally charging LED is on for a second after that everything is black and repeated again and again... After several rounds machine starts and boot WIN   Could I ask you for help please?   Thank you in advance

D620 is a very old laptop. I have one. The hard drive sounds like it is dying. I would make sure to back up your files.

It is E6220 not D620... I have installed new mSATA 256 GB...

Your post said D620. The E6220 is already quite old. I have the E6230. If your hard drive is new, I suppose then it is the motherboard.

Ahhh yes...   My mistake... Title is 6220 but in post was D620 (modified already). I will try to replace HD for anther one... I checked led codes and it looks that it is HDD issue... will see.
