Dell Audio Settings (Adjustment)
Hi,
Following a Windows 10 reinstall, (light - files kept), I can no longer adjust my Dell Audio settings.
Prior to this, In could click on the (DELL) speaker icon, and through the window, set all sorts of levels for my audio. There was an equalizer setting that could be finely tuned. This was/is important to me as I have the laptop connected to a JBL soundbar, and the desirable settings for music are different to speech.
So that was all working fine. However since the reinstall I have been unable to do this. The icon is on the task bar, and the same window opens, but when I click into "Speaker/Headphone" and click "Equalizer", nothing happens.
I'd really appreciate some advice on this, specifically how to get the 'equalizer settings' back.
Thanks.

Since you didn't tell us your laptop model, I cannot direct you to specific drivers or downloads. So, my instructions will be somewhat more general.
You need to install whatever audio driver and/or audio application is/are required for your laptop. You can find them at the Dell Support site. You may also be able to obtain them via SupportAssist or Dell Update, but that depends upon your model. You may need first to install chipset package.
