dell bios won't update

Question

dell e5430 bios won't update i have bios a03 révision i don't have battery  i tried the method /forceit with several versions. won't update reboot normally without update

Without a battery the BIOS will not update nor is it a good idea to try and force the update. Any loss or fluctuation in power and your MB is bricked. I always stress that if the system is running well and unless a BIOS update specifically addresses a problem you are having, then the best thing to do is not update. The forum is full of posts from users that have had BIOS updates go wrong with disastrous results.

I have a version a03 the current version on dell site web is a21. In no battery i can't flash bios even though with forceit command I have already seen several vedio on the web is it works with forceit but not for me  Help me Please
