Dell E6420

Does anyone know how to tell if your laptop had a camera or mic or Bluetooth installed or not? I have Win 10 installed and I’m not sure if it is hardware issue or if none were installed. It is the i5 2520m version. I tried contacting dell support but their email does not work. I was planning to run my serial numbers to see if one was installed or not. I bought it off Craigslist and everything else works except the camera and mic it appears.

Go to the Dell support page and type in your service tag number. The system configuration will be in there and you can run a current configuration which will display the hardware. Also in Device Manager the camera should be shown.

Device Manager will list all the hardware. The configuration page at Dell support gives you obscure technical info.

Here's a good list of specs--

I found that it does come with the Laptop and the service peeps stated that it was likely a compatible issue because of the free upgrade to Win 10. I hypothesized that it was likely a driver issue. Diagnosis in Bios stated all hardware was fine.
