Anything is possible, but a screen diagnostic should tell you (hold D through powerup).
Swapping a non-touch to a touchscreen means replacing everything above the base unit (not just the screen, but the wiring harness, hinges, front and back cover, etc.).
The parts from a non-touch won't accommodate a touch panel and vice-versa.
