Dell Headset voice assistance can't be muted

Whenever I toggle the mute button on my Dell WL5022 Headset, I get a voice saying "Muted" or "Unmuted" but the voice interrupts the call i'm receiving and I lose important info from the caller.  I need to be able to mute/unmute my headset with no voice telling me that it's muted/unmuted.  Can someone share with me how to turn off this voice assistance?

I also have this question for WL5022.

When I turn on the headset initially when joining a meeting I need to wait for the voice to run through 4 different prompts (see below) before I can hear anything from the call.

This is extremely annoying not to mention unproductive.

Please provide a way to disable these prompts!

The prompts:

  1. "Power On"
  2. "No Phone is connected"
  3. "PC Connected"
  4. "Mute on"

Hi,

I had the same problem and the User Manual states that the Plantronics Hub software can be used to change some of these.  I've been able to change the "Mute On" and "Mute Off" announcements to a single-beep.

I've attached three screenshots.  The first shows the Hub software with only the USB dongle connected:

The second shows what happens when the headset is switched on and interfaces with the dongle:

This is the point at which the options to change the prompts show up.

The third screenshot has the options displayed:

I hope this helps.

Good Luck!
