Dell Latitude e5440 won't boot up.
Hey people, I have a dell latitude e5440 and yesterday I took the battery out, put it back in and now the power button LED turns on but after about 10-15 seconds it shuts off. I've already tried unplugging the CEPAC battery, and also releasing any static charge built up. Also I've tried holding the "D" button down and pushing the power button, it went through the LCD screen test but still didn't boot up. Another thing to is that I have two chargers and both of them work Please help! Thanks!

If it worked fine before the battery was removed then odds are good that something concerned with the battery is the culprit. Are you sure you have the battery connected completely and that no other plugs are loose or that the RAM modules are fully seated? Are you hearing any beeps or see any flashing LED diagnostic lights?

Thanks so much for the help! Last night I re-seated the ram sticks and after that it turned on and I got it to boot into windows! Thing is though is if I have the AC charger plugged in and I try to power it on, it says this.

I might end up replacing the CMOS battery eventually. Where should I get one?, Ebay, Dell?
