Dell Latitude E5570 Battery & Sudden Shutdown Issue – Looking for Feedback

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has a Dell Latitude E5570 and has experienced the following issue:

• Laptop randomly turns off when running on battery, especially with heavy apps like CapCut, Premiere, or multiple Chrome tabs.

• Screen goes black first, then the system shuts down completely after 5–7 seconds.

• On charger power, the laptop works normally without shutting down.

• Sometimes the laptop boots and runs fully on battery, but at other times it fails to load Windows completely.

From my observation and testing, this seems to be caused by weak or unstable battery cells, even if the battery health shows 90%. Older batteries can’t handle the power load, causing sudden shutdowns. The charger and motherboard usually remain fine.

I’m curious to know if anyone else has experienced this exact behavior on the same model. If yes:

• What was your solution?
