I'd appreciate it a lot if you could. My only concerns are if there's different construction in the E6430s that came with i7s and 45W processors and this one that came with a 35W by default. From what I read, the mobos can be different from model to model but if there's no problems with overheating or power issues with a 45W - I'll definitely go for the 3740QM.
e; I've also been reading that the chipset is also compatible with the 3840QM and 3940XM - any thoughts on those as well?

I just tested the i7-3720QM and the i7-3740QM in an E6530 and worked just fine.
