Dell Win 7 to Win 10 webcam not connected (Code 45)
I have a Dell XFR E6420 rugged laptop I just bought refurbished and it was updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10. I'm trying to get everything set up but I keep getting error code 0xA00F4244 and I've checked permissions. I've also checked drivers to see they are updated. Under device management, I had to go to View>show hidden devices to see the "Cameras" list, under which there is one camera, its title is grayed out. I can still click it to view properties, where it shows Code 45, device not connected. It doesn't give me the option to roll back drivers either. And I already tried the Registry Editor fix where you add "EnableFrameServerMode" DWORD. Someone mentioned I might need to set it up with the Windows 7 driver since that is what the computer came with. Is there a different driver from Windows 7 to 10 for integrated webcams and how would I install the Win7 driver for it from Dell?
