Diagnostic report: Hard drive - Not installed.
Hi all,
Model: Latitude 5430
Issue type: Cannot detect SSD
I took out the SSD from the laptop. I tried to access the user data via the SSD enclosure, but I could not access the SSD.
I tried to initialize it in the computer management.
I tried to find the storage by command list disk and list vol in cmd. Unfortunately, also cannot find the storage.
I would appreciate if any help you can provide.
Best regards

You need to decrypt the drive using Bitlocker -- it's encrypted. Contact the registered owner for the bitlocker key.

@ejn63 What the drive is not detected as in Disk 1 so how can you say it is encrypted of not even listed.

The SSD that you removed is it a SATA or NVME PCI tipe because you might be using the wrong USB adaptor ?

"I took out the SSD from the laptop. I tried to access the user data via the SSD enclosure, but I could not access the SSD."
This is the wildcard. Was the drive encrypted in the system it came from?
Was the drive recognized in the system it came from (at the hardware level?
If two systems have failed to recognize the drive at the hardware level, the drive has failed (or if it was working before you connected it externally, could have been damaged in that attempt).
