DW5811e Insert SIM problem after changing operator
Hi,
I have Latitude 7390 with DW5811e LTE modem. After I bought this notebook I insert T-Mobile SIM card into it and it worked. Few days ago I decide to change my operator and SIM card to Orange so I bought new SIM card and insert it. Unfortunately Windows10 shows only Insert SIM card message. I removed Orange SIM card, and insert old one from T-Mobile. Everything works like a charm. Can anyone suggest me what can cause this problem. Orange SIM card is activated and work (on my phone).

Is the DW5811e locked to a specific provider?

I have no idea but I believe not. Notebook was bought normally in the shop not in the operator. Can I check it somehow?

Either call the provider with the IMEI handy and ask them, or use the provider’s BYOD website to search the IMEI to make sure it’s compatible with their network.
