E6530 Fingerprint Sensor isn't recognized
I have an E6530 given to me by a friend. The device did not have a drive, so I installed an SSD with a fresh edition of windows 10. As a result, none of the previous drivers were on the device, so I used SupportAssist to install the needed software. It did not seem to find any fingerprint drivers, and the the fingerprint sensor that is clearly on the laptop is not recognized by any programs I run. I understand the device is not supported by Windows hello, but not even device manager recognizes a biometric scanner, and I can't find any drivers on the Dell site. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for posting, apologies that your system is not performing as expected.
Have you tried the Dell ControlVault Windows Biometric Framework Driver
and here's an article from a non-Dell website that might be helpful:
