Replace the fan;  if you need a part reference, we'll need the system model number and the exact fan error message (i.e., Latitude 7520, and 2000-0511, etc.).

Hi, thank you for replying.

My model is a LATITUDE E7440

The message is:

Fan malfunction.

To cange press F1 key.

To cange setup option press F2 key.

To run onboard diagnostics press F5 key.

A Few Months ago my fan was gotten loud sound then today when i booted it i got the same message but my laptop doesnt quickly discharges because my battery is broken but i knew it, it was the same problem i will buy a new fan sometime or fix it idk when
