Frame around the keyboard, cleaning
I have the same problem and tried to use Isopropyl Alcohol to solve and clean it. The result is that the "ink" just came off! Take a look at the photos.

Having reached that point unfortunately, the solution now is to replace the Palmrest Assembly as found at Parts-People here.

Hi Uranio.
Thank you personally for this Dell spares link; I personally looked for a moment, but the shipping costs to Italy exceed the cost of the spare parts by 8/10 times!
Too bad because they have everything ...even for old models (like my inseparable Latitude E6430!)
