High memory usage for Waves Maxxaudio Service Application

My Waves Maxxaudio Service application constantly uses 1000 to 1200 MB of memory on my Precision 7760 workstation, even when there is no sound playing.  This seems excessive.  I have followed the approved solution from an earlier discussion (I believe the solution was posted august 2023) of downloading and installing the latest realtek audio driver.  The solution did nothing to solve the issue.  The previous discussion was listed as closed, but, as it looks like myself and other people are still having this issue, I felt like further inquiry was needed.  Please let me know what I can do to resolve the issue.
