Is dGPU replaceable in Dell Precision Mobile Workstation 7740?
I did NOT find any specific Dell community for dell precision laptops. Hence, posting my question here.
Is the discrete GPU (dGPU), say, AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 4GB, replaceable on Dell Precision Mobile Workstation 7740?
Some forums online suggest its predecessor 7730, has a Dell Form Factor (DFF) for the graphics card. But still it doesn't state whether its replaceable or not.
I am thinking of purchasing Dell Precision Mobile Workstation 7740 without the dGPU so as to conserve battery consumption on Linux-based distros.
I'm not sure if 7740's BIOS has an option to turn off dGPU or if the Linux software from AMD for the dGPU allows me to completely shutdown the dGPU.
Please help!

Yes it is replaceable!!!
These are the options that Dell had sold with that W/S.
NVIDIA Quadro RTX3000

Some important notes with regards to upgrading the GPU, having just done it myself.
It does work.
But it is not as simple as just getting the new Graphics card, which are hard enough to get hold of anyway. You will also need a different heatsink and additional DGFF connectors. If you are getting a new machine, I would recommend getting the right GPU to start with unless they start officially supporting such an upgrade.
