Is this upgrade possible?

I planned on upgrading my school/work laptop to an intel core i5 and wanted to put the old i3 330m to good use. Does anybody know if it is compatible with the Dell latitude D630? BTW its a first gen. Its pretty old I know thats why im upgrading it after finding out its compatible with the i5. Right now the D630 is currently running an intel core 2 duo @ 2.40GHz. I know the D630 is considered "a dead latitude" but ive had it for ages and it works fine with no problems. Thats one thing I love about dell there laptops are indestructible and last forever. Any way, If anyone knows by chance please let me know. P.S it has windows 10. I dont know if that helps with the fact but just in case sombody wanted to know.

The post here will give you more information. That is indeed an old (10 years) system and I would not go to much trouble or money to upgrade it. Better to put the funds toward a new system.

i just wanted to see if it was cause im upgrading my newer system but i wanted to know if the older prossecer will be compatible. The i5 i was looking at is also first gen and is only $25 so I figured "why not upgrade 2 computers for the price of one". but thanks for the link.
