Issues after Installing Windows 25H2 Update in Latitude 3410

Hi there,

I am learning that there were few issues notified by users in this forum after they installed the Windows Update 25H2 in their devices. However, as they mentioned in their posts, I have not observed any issues what they faced in my DELL Latitude 3410 laptop. My audio and camera is working fine and rest of the system is also working as intended.

However, what I noticed is that after switching on the laptop, it takes considerable time to bring the screen where the "Dell" logo is displayed in a black back drop. Further I noticed that power lights in the left side, just blinks (From orange to white) and CAPS LOCK lights keeps on switched. It took considerable time to load the system; time more than what it took before I installed 25H2 update. The power key was un-responsive during this period. After the "Dell" logo appeared, I witnessed some screen issues, then it started over again, with the "Dell" logo. After some time, the system showed the login in screen of Windows 11.

Did anybody have issues similar to this?

@user_46847a Thank you for guidence. I have done as you said, where I could share the observations by tomorrow. In the mean time, I have checked Firmeware, which is the latest the device could get:

BIOS: 1.36.0 (type: UEFI)

Further checked the Event Viewer > System and couldn't find anything concerning. However, after I drained out the battery, I was able to go DELL Support Assist BIOS Setup. In the logs I was able to find the following error which have triggered during the issue:

Unidentified Event code 0x03808164

For such I have found the document to troubleshoot in here. I will be monitoring this closely and will revert back with further information.

Thank You,

Further to my observation in my last post, it was determined that there was a fault in my RAM as suggesed from the blink pattern of the LED Lights next to the HDMI port. As witnessed, it was 2x Amber and 4x White which essentially points the issue to RAM (Refer the link attached in my previous post over troubleshooting by LED pattern; mind you this may differ from product to product). After visiting the DELL service center, the Technician offered no other task other than unplug the RAM from its slot and plug it back in again and voila! everything worked thereafter.
