Latitude 14 Rugged 5404

I need to upgrade RAM it is standing 8GB, but not clear 1 slot occupied with 8GB? So not clear what to buy? In market are DDR3 1600, but 204-pins, 240-pins... What to buy?

And what happening with batery charger, lights are blinking orange and green, so not charging and when disconecting from charger computer goes black down. I changed already second time batery since 2014.

DDR3 soDIMMs are 204 pin.  240 pin DDR3 is desktop memory and won't fit.

In the absence of any other issues such as failure to recognize the AC adapter, it sounds like the battery is toast.

Hi

Dell say .

Feature Specification
Memory connector two SODIMM slots
Memory capacity 4 GB, or 8 GB
Memory type DDR3 SDRAM 1600 Mhz
Minimum memory 4 GB
Maximum memory 16 GB
So perhaps a search on a Crucial, Kingston or Mr Memory website may help.
