Latitude 5520 Not Booting
So was given a Latitude 5520 Laptop that is not booting. It turns on, keyboard lights up briefly and then the system shuts off. I have tried to boot without the battery and the same thing happens. I have tried to take out the memory and still nothing.
Was hoping someone had something else I can try to get this running

If you're not seeing a LED flash pattern with no memory aboard, the mainboard is toast and will need to be replaced.

That's what I figured. Is it even worth it?

The systems sell for $200-250 used, so it may be cheaper to replace the system than the board if you have to pay for labor.
The boards run $150-200. Try parts-people.com for one source.

That machine is 11th gen, now 13th gen machines are common with Dell and affordable models are widely available
I use Dell Precision class machine as my has discrete graphics.
