Latitude E5570 thinks touchpad is a mouse - help!

Hello.

I recently received this new Latitude E5570 that runs Windows 10 from my work.

I noticed that the touchpad has no gestures. This means I can not scroll.

I reinstalled the drivers, including the Dell Touchpad driver, from this website.

When I go into my touchpad settings, and then more settings, it brings up settings for a mouse. It even shows a picture of a computer mouse in the properties dialogue. It shows settings for mouse wheel, etc. No settings for touchpad.

When I go into Dell's touchpad application, again, it shows an actual mouse - not a touchpad. Hitting settings from there brings up the same settings for a mouse.

The only thing I have been able to do that works, is to completely uninstall the touchpad and all drivers for it and NOT install any new drivers. Once I do that, it actually starts working. But as soon as I restart my PC it reverts back and I can no longer use scrolling or any other gesture functionality.

I use a touchpad exclusively for my work and don't even own a mouse so I really need this to be working.

Can anyone help?
