I don't have a big USB drive at all

I got in bios but I think when it first had issue with password expired I did something in bios can't remember what I did now has another problem I'll keep trying until I get it right have family that works on laptops won't see until Easter he will be coming over the other issue the DVD drive won't read anything even if I had a disc reinstall operating system can't do I want get a large hard drive for it my dell only has 80 GB hard drive in it I got it like that seller said it was refurbished not sure by dell

I've decided to let family look at my laptop and but 1 t.b hard drive cuz 70 GB not enough space I don't care about the files don't matter to me

My laptop will be coming back this week but he couldn't fix DVD drive has something important missing I don't know I only get message said could use external drive I already tried that before but I don't know how to get it boot to external drive in bios but after last time I really don't want mess with it again unless I really have to ...a 1 t.b had was bought but didn't fit my laptop probably will be sending it back again and by another 1 t.b hard drive for urban that fits it 

 Family didn't fix it came back with same issue not loading to windows I have a one t.b drive bought for it was just going to put it in but I couldn't get the hard drive out and had problems putting screws back in it I'm frustrated with it family gave me a Windows Vista disk I have Windows Vista I got from Microsoft years ago but anyway I used an external DVD drive Try to load up that disk don't think it did anything just sat there trying read that disk then goes to the screen where says try fix the issue loading windows then try fix I think that's what it says watched YouTube video how to take out hard drive that made where I can't put screws back in right I'm out of luck here

 I’m probably going to bring it back home for me to work on until about Xmas then family member can look at it see fix dvd drive why it won’t burn or play anything I’m going try hopefully get it out for some reason online guide is different from what it shows 

probably not drive that should’ve came with 

from what i read should been 160 gb in it now 80 gb but im upgrade to 1 tb with windows 19 on it already it trying get it out is  holding me up

Ok I know it's been awhile since my last.  Ost but I installed a new hard drive with Windows 10 64 pro it runs great but my other issues the dvdrw drive blinks when you pull in a disk but won't play the disk inside of it I don't know why I thought maybe I put a new one in would help it, I don't want waist $$$ and don't play the disk

My other options is Take out the dvd see if not all way inside of it but it opens no problem but don't read the disk in it ..
