Latitude E6430 CPU upgrade
I wanted to replace my current i5-3320 with a i7-8650U, but I don't know if it's capatible with the this model. Can anyone anwser that?

No, it is not. That model is limited to the 3rd gen Core i CPU. Beyond that, the CPU you have in mind is not socketed - it is hard soldered to the mainboard.
If you want that CPU, look for a used Latitude 7490 system.

@ejn63 Alright thanks for the help. I just really like the E6430 model and wanted to keep upgrading it.

I recently upgraded my Latitude E6530 from an i7-3520M to an i7-3840-QM. So two more cores and +200 MHz turbo clock. For $40 it gave a small but noticeable boost. The i7-3740QM would be a good choice s well.
