Latitude E6530 no Bluetooth.
This laptop came with 8.1 Windows which I used the free upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. When I looked up the specs. on this laptop this chip 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 was listed under wireless communication so I believe this laptop is Bluetooth capable ( yes - no ? ). Dell says I am current on drivers, updates. I tried loading the Bluetooth driver (? ) that Dell had ( WIDCOMM Bluetooth software ) which seemed to load by gave me a message of " activate Bluetooth using wireless switch " . I have spent many hours on the internet trying to find solution form my laptops inability to have Bluetooth and to find how to " activate Bluetooth using wireless switch ". I want to use a wireless mouse and my cameras Bluetooth feature. Desperate and frustrated. Need help. Thanks in advance for the help.

And... No replies with solutions. This happens way too often with Dell these days and this forum as well. Unless your issue is about bleeding edge stuff, you get nothing. They got my money and left me hanging.

I've found the solution:
(1) RE: Dell Latitude E6530 and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Plus Bluetooth. - Dell Community
"However, you can still use it on the 1/2 mini slot right next to the Wi-Fi slot and the computer will boot up just fine."
Edit:
Sorry, not quite the same problem, but it can help you. I'd bought Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 Plus Bluetooth, model 7260 HMW.
But with this card I had the problem described under the link above and I found the solution there, so it could help you, too.

There is an external wifi switch for this laptop.
There may also be a setting in BIOS to turn on/off Bluetooth.

Here you are Owner's Manual:
Dell Latitude E6530 Owner's Manual
If your model has bluetooth you can check how to do it, but I really recommend to buy new and faster WifI card with BT on board.

I had a lot of issues attempting to upgrade the non-bluetooth oem card for my Dell e6530 with an Intel n7260 card, but I eventually got it working. I had no bluetooth icon in the system tray and only an unknown device in the device manager. Attempting to update the bluetooth driver with a Dell or Intel Proset driver all failed for a variety of reasons.
My solution:
1. Install generic dell bluetooth driver manually using device manger, update driver, browse computer, select from list (this gave me a bluetooth device in the device manager and a bluetooth icon in the system tray, but still no functional bluetooth radio that would actually pair to anything).
2. Download and install the Intel Proset driver (this got the bluetooth working instantly for me)

Hope this helps.
