Latitude model naming conventions
With so many Latitude models mentioned in discussion I am getting a bit confused. I have had E6330, E6430S, E6320, E7240/7250, E7270, 7480/7490.
have to resort to wiki. The first number is class. The second number indicates the size of the screen, the third number for year of release, which roughly corresponds to Intel cpu gen (or +1)
e.g., 6330: 3rd gen, 6320: 2nd gen, 7240: 4th gen, 7250: 5th gen, 7270: 6th gen, 7480: 7th gen, 7490: 8th gen.
the fourth number is most commonly 0, but occasionally 1 for slightly higher spec, or 5 for AMD.

Hi, thank you for the explanation about breaking down the cpu's names, but I found a code name for intel processors that isn't mentioned in the specifications
Please help me to know the code name of my laptop Dell Latitude E6440, is conroe, I need it to checkout hackintosh versions suitable to it.
