Legacy boot
Hi,
i want to use linux on my Latitude 14 7424 and was shocked, that legacy boot is not longer supported for booting from the internal drive.
Is there ANY fix? BIOS downgrade maybe?
And: Why would somebody do this?
I need to use legacy boot for the internal hdd, otherwise this very nice laptop is nothing more than a expensive letter-weight.

Legacy boot is gone from new systems -- no, it can't be added back to the system again.
You'll need a UEFI-compliant version of Linux -- Ubuntu has the best Linux support.

The demise of the BIOS has been going on for over a decade - it's gone from just about everything, never to return.
