Maxxaudio pro doesn't support this device

Hello,

I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with MaxxAudio Pro on my Windows 11 operating system. Previously, when I was using Windows 10, the software was functioning perfectly. After upgrading to Windows 11, I initially did not encounter any problems. However, recently I have been facing difficulties with MaxxAudio Pro.

In an attempt to resolve the issue, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Unfortunately, during the reinstallation process, I received an error message stating, "This software does not support this device."

I am reaching out to you in the hope that you can provide a solution or guidance on how to address this problem. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The interface of Waves Maxx or MaxxAudio Pro is automatically install upon a Realtek audio driver installation.  To repair, completely remove Realtek audio driver under Device Manager and restart the machine.  After restart, Windows will reinstall the audio driver and MaxxAudio.

If you check Device Manager and not finding Realtek, you can manually download and installing this Realtek high definition audio driver, restart machine and check again.

Try this--Install the windows 10 drivers from Dell's driver page. Laptops cannot use the Maxx audio drivers from Maxx Audio. Laptop drivers are customized by Dell to work correctly on the Dell board. If that doesn't work consider reinstalling Windows 10. It will be security supported until 2025.
