MBR2GPT question
I own a Latitude E6430 with Windows 10(64-bit in MBR and using BIOS ). I plan to run MBR2GPT.EXE command and my question is:
How do I change the BIOS so it boots in UEFI and not in BIOS mode ?
Also I do not plan to use Secure Boot as I want to dual-boot Windows 10 with Ubuntu 20.04.
I have a 819MB Recovery Partition that only says it is a recovery partition. Will that affect the mbr2gpt procedure or is it just a Windows Partition?
Thanks!

@adelluser565 Before you do anything, go into your BIOS Setup by pressing F2 during startup. In the boot menu you'll find somewhere that has an option for you to choose between Legacy and UEFI. That's the option you need to change after running MBR2GPT. As for Secure Boot, newer Ubuntu distributions actually do support Secure Boot, so you might find that you can use it and still use Ubuntu, in which case I would definitely enable it. You can always enable it and see what happens. If Secure Boot is the reason something won't boot, you will see an error message very clearly indicating that the bootloader failed the Secure Boot integrity check. If you don't see an error specifically about that, then Secure Boot isn't your issue. Lots of people seem to disable Secure Boot for no good reason.
The Recovery partition won't affect MBR2GPT. It's a standard partition that Windows creates. It contains some tools that can be useful for recovering an unbootable Windows environment.

@adelluser565 I forgot to add that I would strongly recommend that you capture a full system image backup before you perform that MBR2GPT procedure, just to be safe. There are several tools for this purpose. Macrium Reflect is a popular choice, and it has a free version that would be fine for this type of thing.
