Power on issue
Dell latitude E6530 refused to power up. The battery light keeps flashing amber and white. The fan operates briefly when the power button is pressed while the hard drive light flashes then everything stops. At no time does the screen light up.

Remove the battery and unplug the system. Hold the power button for 30 sec.
Remove and reinstall the memory module(s) and hard drive or SSD.
See if the system will power up on AC only (no battery) thereafter.

If the computer starts but there's no display, see if the issue is related to the monitor or graphics card.

I appreciate your reply. The fact of the matter is that the computer does not boot up at all.
