@wisniadawid

That would indicate that the memory is bad or incompatible???

What speed is the new and old memory???

How many chips per side of the memory stick???

4 or 8 ???

U2

Hi wisniadawid,

The memory tested with Latitude E6410 are

DDR3 1066MHz DIMM (2 DIMM slots)
Min 1GB to Max 8GB memory

What is the total amount of memory installed in the system?

You cannot exceed more than 8GB as that may cause issues like no post or no video. You have to use 1066MHz memory as 1333MHz is not tested on this model.

@wisniadawid

I pulled an E6410 from my warehouse to test.

It would not accept 4GB memory no matter what combination I tried.

The Bios was A05 and I tried to update it to A17 and I kept getting errors that my AC was unplugged???

So I pulled a second one from the warehouse and it worked fine with 2 4GB 1066, 1333 and 1600.

What BIOS version are you running.

Can you update the BIOS???
