Replacement Screen Assembly for Dell 5414
My Dell 5414
I would like to replace my entire screen assembly.
When I enter my service tag into Dell Support the System Configuration list the following:
391-BCRV : 14.0" FHD (1920 x 1080 ) Outdoor-readable, Touch, with Camera with Privacy Shutter and Microphone
Y2XYT SRV,APP,ETTI,TOUCHPANEL 1
GOT8M ASSY,HNG,TOUCH,CMRA,MIC 1
X34F6 INFO,TOUCH 1
DGDG5 INFO,SWSI,LCD,14.0,TOUCH 1
My system is indeed FHD touchscreen at 1920x1080, however everywhere I can get this assembly lists part number G0T8M as being HD 1366x768 touchscreen.
Can you please advise if the G0T8M assembly has a FHD 1920x1080 resolution screen?

A couple of places I just looked show that part number as HD, not FHD.

Thanks for the info, however I want to replace the complete screen assembly, as a new assembly comes with new hinges, and the original ones have a lot of free play.
I also checked everywhere, and as you found out, everywhere list the G0T8M as 1366x768 HD. However Dell lists G0T8M as original equipment for my 5414 and lists it as 1920 x 1080 FHD, see attached pictures.
I have a DELL laptop, I wish to buy a Dell genuine part, Dell lists my part number description contrary to every other site (see pics attached).
So please can someone at Dell take a moment to let me know the CORRECT resolution of G0T8M? And if it isn't FHD, let me know the correct part number for the FHD display assembly for
This is very disappointing. I have been a loyal Dell customer for over 12 years, with 5 laptops later, but I can't get an answer to a question for a system like a 5414 that is only 3 months out of warranty. I am not asking for warranty service, I am asking for simple information, basically just decent customer service.
