Single usb port not recognizing mouse
On a laptop Dell Latitude 5590 USB port labeled 25 in the manual doesn't recognize mouse. Tested it with several different and all mouses are working fine when plugged in the other two ports. Also tested the port with few usb flash drives and they all work but when connecting my phone it didn't result anything. So I assume it's not hardware problem.
Already tried:
1.Restart
2.Updating to the latest drivers
3.Uninstalling all the usb drivers and reinstalling them from device manager
4.Disabling and enabling the device from device manager
5.Unchecking enable selective suspend from power options
6.Unchecking allow computer to turn off this device to save power from device manager
and restarts after doing steps 2-6
Any suggestions what to try next?

What model computer? We can't assume you have the same model as the post from 2 years ago.

Were you able to resolve this issue? I am having exactly the same problem. The USB port beside the VGA port no longer detects USB 2.0 devices (mouse, keyboard, webcam, pen-drive) but is able to detect USB 3.0 hard drives and wireless adaptor. The other 2 ports are ok. The mouse is not detected in BIOS either for this port alone. What could be the problem?

USB Device Tree Viewer gives the following output. Is it a hardware or software problem? Dell's pre-boot diagnostics and SupportAssistant do not indicate any hardware issues.
