Heard back from Dell service, it means that the touchpad is also mechanically "clickable".

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

This was on a sticker on the touchpad, I assume it indicates some sort of "functionality" of the touchpad but there is NO EXPLAINATION of it, just a picture in the "paper" that was sent with the laptop that shows it but I have no idea what it actually means and cannot find any documentation anywhere that helps.

I just bought a Precision that came with a touchpad sticker with the same logo. My touchpad is definitely not mechanically clickable. Other sources (online, and the Dell rep with whom I'm chatting) say that this symbol indicates the location of the NFC chip (near-field communication).

They also say that the sticker can be removed, but it definitely seems scary.
