synaptis or alps control app?
On a Latitude 5330. Touchpad often jumps when not wanted. Older systems had an alps or synaptics control panel to change settings like sensitivity and palm guard. I can't find any such for this. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks.

In Windows 11 go to Settings-Bluetooth and Devices. You will then see the option for the touchpad. From here you can adjust the settings.
To receive assistance from Dell chat support, they need to verify the warranty status and ownership. Then you must troubleshoot with them. Click the "Get Help Now" icon on the right to start a live chat session. If already out of warranty, click here for the Dell out of warranty offering.

Yes but in all the settings under Devices there is no "palm check" as previous alps and synaptics control aps had. This touchpad is bigger, which wouldn't be necessary if they hadn't saved 2 cents by getting rid of the pad buttons, which separate pad movement from tap. Being bigger it's very awkward to type without bumping the pad. And generally I'm working on the go so an external mouse can't be used. It was a simple little setting that's been available for a decade and now they've forgotten it and created a problem. Baffling.
