Both USB-Ports on Latitude 7285 2-in-1 are misbehaving. Usually, USB devices are detected (drives for instance appear in the explorer), but after a few seconds, they are automatically disconnected. This behaviour is completely independent on the type of USB-device (hdd or flash drives, sound adaptors, network adaptors, cameras...)
I have 7285, in warranty my MB got exchanged. Eventually - I got EVERYTHING exchanged but the issue still persists. 2 different MS systems in countless variants and same problem
Only workaround is to get the USB device connected upon boot = then it stays recognized.
Exactly the same problem on mine as well. USB devices are detected, but after a few seconds they disconnect again. This makes it pretty much useless to my application.
I have several Latitude 7285s and all of them have this issue after Windows update. I've called DELL support center years ago but they said they don't know the root cause of this issue at that time, and now it happens on both Win10 and Win11. It seems DELL really worse than HP on problem solving, while I also have many HP notebooks.
Changing Dynamic Tuning Manager driver will temporally smooth out USB storage detach issue but the system will overheat and goes into blue screen. Please DELL really spend some resource to overcome this issue or people will simply lose confidence on DELL.

My Latitude 7285 works fine with Windows Driver Kit 10.0.18362, but encounters USB storage detaching issue since 10.0.19041 till 10.0.26100...
Please DELL provide the roll-back-package installer for who suffering above issues.
